United States Mint announced the launch of the 18th coin in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program, dedicated to The Great Basin National Park .
The The Great Basin National Park has many amazing features – mountain peaks, caverns, desert oases and 4000 year old trees.
The coin’s reverse design shows the beauty and unique qualities of a Bristlecone Pine tree and the rocky glacial moraines where these trees are growing.
Great Basin National Park quarters produced for general circulation were released to the Federal Reserve Bank on June 10.
