New Slovakia 10 Euro commemorative coin: Jozef Karol Hell

Slovakia will issue tomorrow a new silver commemorative coin with the face value of 10 Euro, dedicated to the 300th birth anniversary of Jozef Karol Hell.

Jozef Karol Hell was a Hungarian mining engineer and inventor, known for inventing the water-pillar, mainly used today for oil extraction, and also for proposing the construction of the tajchy reservoirs around Banská Štiavnica.
